If you have antiques in need of appraisal or antique appliances in need of disposal, this is your weekend!
On Saturday, April 11 from 8 AM-12 PM, the Franklin High School girls’ softball team will be holding an appliance recycling fundraiser at the Franklin Elks, 1077 Pond Street. The charge will be $5-20 for each appliance donated depending on type, and all appliances are welcome whether or not they’re working! For info on pricing for various appliances, head over to Franklin Matters for a copy of the flyer.
On Sunday, April 12 from 1-4 PM, stop by the Franklin Historical Museum at 80 West Central Street to have your antiques appraised by Nancy Wyman, certified appraiser at Coyle’s Auction Gallery in Bellingham. Bring one to three items and $5 per item, and find out what your treasures are worth! Please don’t bring fine jewelry, stamps, coins, or weapons, but stoneware/pottery, china, vintage clothing and costume jewelry, art, rugs, furniture, and other decorative items are welcome. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Franklin Historical Museum, so come on by!
